Turn that old side table into a masterpiece or that ugly chair into an heirloom! Transform old, unwanted, or unused pieces of furniture into works of art!
If you can hold a paintbrush you can master the techniques taught in this class. You will use acrylic paints to learn a number of basic painting techniques that will turn your piece into a unique expression of your creativity. Please join us to have some fun creating your own piece of fantastic furniture!
Participants are required to bring one sanded and primed piece of furniture -- small table, chair, candlestick, frame, jewelry box or any other wooden item of your choosing. Your piece should be structurally sound before you start to paint it. Instructions on sanding and priming your piece and types/sizes of paintbrushes will be provided prior to class. Nancy will provide instruction and a variety of acrylic paints. If you have a specific color palette in mind and have paint you would like to bring, please do so.
