Sue Dahling Sullivan of Mashpee, the Lead ArtWeek Champion from the Boch Center, will lead the session to give more information about ArtWeek, which is scheduled for April 26-May 5, 2019.
Falmouth businesses, restaurants, arts, and cultural organizations, individual artists and town officials are invited to a meeting later this month to promote Falmouth as a creative community during Art Week, a statewide arts festival taking place next spring.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 12, from 9 am to 10 am at the Falmouth Art Center, 137 Gifford Street, in Falmouth.
Last year, ArtWeek expanded statewide with over 525 events in 130 towns/neighborhoods and there were over 50 events just on Cape Cod, according to Sullivan. “We’ve had banks, architecture firms, florists, bookstores, breweries involved in other communities so the possibilities are broad for ArtWeek. That is the great part about ArtWeek!” Sullivan said.
Cape Cod groups are already meeting on how to expand ArtWeek throughout their towns. “Come learn more, brainstorm, and network to explore how Falmouth can shine even brighter as a creative community during ArtWeek,” Sullivan said.
