Hairspray (2007; 106 minutes) This candy-colored musical is based on the Broadway adaptation of John Waters’ 1988 movie about a perpetually cheerful teenage girl in 1962 Baltimore. Co-starring John Travolta, Christopher Walken, Queen Latifah, and many others. Songs by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
Tickets are $12, available in advance at the box office or in person, or at the door. Seating is general admission.
