Presented by Sandwich Arts Alliance at Sandwich Public Library

VILLAGE BOOK FESTIVAL MAKES FOR FALL WEEKEND FAMILY FUN

The Literary Arts Group of the Sandwich Arts Alliance will be holding a Village Book Festival on the lawn of the Sandwich Public Library on Saturday October 13th  from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. This outdoor event, free to the public, features local, published authors of all genres presenting their books for all ages which will be on display and for sale. The afternoon’s festivities will be enhanced by the live acoustic music performed by SAA Members Nils Soderberg and Norm Silva and there will be light refreshments. (Rain date: October 14, second rain date October 21.)

Included on the list of local, published authors who will be in attendance at the festival are Christie Lowrance: “Nature’s Ambassador - The Legacy of Thornton W. Burgess”;  Kathryn Kleekamp: “Cape Cod & The Islands - Where Beauty & History Meet”;  Carolyn LeComte: “Never Invite A Seagull to Lunch”;   Dean Coe: “Chesterton Saves The Bunnies”;  Dr. Robert Reece: "Double Blind, Double Cross", Alexandra Speck: “Honor Girl: A Novel" and Donna Rockwell: “Seeing Stars”.

Local, published authors, SAA members and non-members alike are invited to participate by registering at www.sandwichartsalliance.org. ($20 for members, $25 for non-members).
