Do you like to take notes and make lists? Do like to keep a paper record of your days or travels? This class will give you an overview of art journaling and the many ways you can document your life with a variety of art supplies. It is freeing and fun to experiment with color and layering; any “mistake” can be altered or covered. Create backgrounds with color and texture then learn interesting and easy ways to add some images – you will not need to draw. Finally, we will look at lettering of various sizes and styles to convey a message. It’s a relaxing, social and fun way to think about life. No art experience or drawing ability is necessary at all, really! New skills and techniques will be added in easy progression. Join us and see if art journaling is for you.
