Oyster Farming and Climate Change

Oyster Farming and Climate Change

Presented by Cotuit Library at Cotuit Library

How does climate change threaten oyster farming here in Barnstable? What can be done to protect our oysters from these threats?

Join us for a research presentation  and community discussion about oyster farming and climate change in Barnstable. Ariana Gunderson, Cotuit resident and Boston University graduate student, spent this summer interviewing oyster farmers, government officials, and non-profits about oysters and climate change in our town.  Join us to hear what she found and share your own thoughts on sustainable oyster farming.
