Sustainability and “the Sweet Life”:  How personal happiness is linked to community and nature with William Powers at Sturgis Library Tuesday October 9th @6:30PM

Drawing on decades-deep experience living and working abroad on development and conservation projects, Powers offers insights and provocative anecdotes about the real link between happiness and sustainability from the academic as well as personal perspective. Powers will discuss his new book Dispatches from the Sweet Life: One Family, Five Acres, and a Community’s Quest to Reinvent the World, a memoir that explores these issues. Books will be available for purchase at the event provided by Titcombs Books.
