Driven to Abstraction: an Artist’s Journey, features artist Chris O’Dell Ferguson’s work in the expansive genre of abstract painting.
Chris is inspired by a diverse array of subjects ranging from the concrete to the ephemeral. Source material can come from a color, shape, texture or sound. The artist often finds inspiration in the act of creating itself, trusting her own intuition to bring each work to fruition. The artist feels passionately about her work, and hopes that the viewer will come away understanding the joy that she feels creating it.
