FINDING YOUR MARK WITH MARY MOQUIN

Class begins September 25th  –  5 WEEKS

This class is for artist’s that have some skills under their belt already but are looking for ways to find out how their work can become more uniquely theirs. How do we find our own voice that will separate our work from others? The answer is through experimentation and exploration of materials. Working on multiple small works will be strongly suggested as well as preliminary drawings and value studies. It is important to spend some prep time figuring out what you have to say in order to figure out the best way to say it on the canvas. Open to all mediums, and mixing mediums will be encouraged as well.

Mary Moquin Received her BFA in Printmaking from Southeastern Mass University and her MFA in painting from UMASS Dartmouth. Her work is shown at the Cove Gallery in Wellfleet and The Chapman Gallery in Cotuit. She is an award winning artist, her artwork has been included in juried regional, national and international shows.
