Join Odin in a series of sessions that change their directive each month and are devoted to working in a smaller and more intensive learning environment, to improve specific artistic skills.
October’s Fearless Painter will be dedicated painting clouds. Many people struggle with this tricky subject matter! In this session, students will learn to give clouds a natural look, with depth and translucency. They will learn some good color mixes and techniques to apply acrylic paint to create cloud volume with shadows, highlights and changes of color and light. We will try our hand at several types and formations of clouds in different light situations.
Please be prepared with your own reference material, paints, brushes, all supplies and any size canvases.
These classes are designed to help artists to become more confident in their own skills and bring a sense of self and creativity to their own work. Taking risks will be encouraged! Must be on an intermediate to advanced level, and must have their own acrylic supplies, including canvases. This class meets in Odin’s studio on the upper level of the Education Wing.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays- October 2,9,16,23,and 30.
