Partelow is a published poet, journalist, playwright, and teacher. She has received numerous awards for her poems, including The Katherine Lee Bates Poetry Contest, Veterans for Peace, and The WOMR Outermost Poetry Contest. Her play, “A Woman’s Heart” has been produced four times on Cape Cod with more scheduled on and off Cape. She is a member of the Brewster Ladies’ Library writing group Brewster Writers, the Chatham Writers at Eldredge Library, and the Scargo Hill Poets. She is also a member of the board of The Cape Cod Writers Center. Partelow has been a full-time Cape Cod resident for 40 years.
