Artists take to the streets of Sandwich again for Plein Air 2018.
Plein Air 2018, sponsored by the Sandwich Arts Alliance, features artists from across the region setting up easels along the streets and byways of Sandwich to paint or draw their favorite scene and to share the experience with the public. The event takes place in two parts on Friday, August 3rd.
*From 9 am to 1 pm artists will be painting or sketching "en plein air" (outside) at a location in town of their own choosing.
*From 5-7 pm, the same day, the public is invited to a cocktail party and silent auction at The Drunken Seal Restaurant where they can view the finished artwork, meet the artists, and if they want, bid on some beautiful art.
