With the title , “Visual Jazz” , Cross Rip Gallery’s exhibit, July 11th-August 12th, will showcase the versatility and talent of artists  Heather Blume, Suzanne Packer, Hollis Fortune, Kate Nelson, Georgene Riedl, Liz Perry, Leslie Kramer, John Howard, Martha Holden, Jim Cahoon, Richard Perry, Dianne Longchamps, Ellen Davies, Alla Zbinovsky, Sally S. Fine,  and Jan Lhormer  who will portray the the essence of the musical genre of jazz with its improvisational harmonies and rhythms, deviations from literal representation with color, lines and rhythms in their paintings, collages, sculptures.  In conjunction with the weekly Harwich Port Music strolls which are held on Main Street every Wednesday in July and August, Cross Rip Gallery will hold its opening reception on July 11th, 5 pm-7 pm,  with outdoor jazz performed by Dylan Routhier on the keyboard.
