As part of our Living Until the End series, Cotuit Library will be hosting its first ever Death Cafe. Heather Massey of In Loving Hands Home Funeral Consultation & Education, and Ellen McCabe of Hope Hospice will be here to help facilitate discussion. For those not familiar with Death Cafe or its mission, Death Cafe is described as follows:

“Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes, nor affiliated religious organization. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. An international social franchise started in Europe, Death Cafe encourages people to talk about the taboo subject of death in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere with refreshments, allowing us to share a respectful, engaging, thought-provoking and life-affirming conversation on any topics related to death and dying.”

So please, come join us for some refreshments, good company, and coverations about death.
