Meet the dynamic mother/daughter duo, Artemis Roehrig and Corrine Demas reading from their fun and fascinating book, Do Doodlebugs Doodle? Amazing Insect Facts!

Kids often ask what may seem like silly questions to adults such as, “Do dragonflies breathe fire?” “Do stink bugs take baths?” “Do bedbugs wear pajamas?” The book follows these questions with informative answers sure to make every reader eager to learn more about insects. Kids will delight in this engaging introduction to insects and budding naturalists will delight in the detailed illustrations, which is sure to inspire further study.

 Corinne Demas and Artemis Roehrig are co-authors of Do Doodlebugs Doodle? Amazing Insect Facts, illustrated by Ellen Shi, Does a Fiddler Crab Fiddle? illustrated by John Sandford and the forthcoming Do Jellyfish Like Peanut Butter?  (Persnickety Press/Cornell Lab Ornithological Publishing Group). The mother-daughter writing team is also the authors of Are Pirates Polite? illustrated by David Catrow, and the forthcoming The Grumpy Pirate, illustrated by Ashlyn Anstee (Scholastic).
