"Feline Frenzy": The Art of Nancy Minnigerode and NESAA Benefit

Presented by Woodruff's Art Center at Woodruff's Art Center

The flurry of felines on the gallery walls was inspired by the artist’s work at the New England Society for Abandoned Animals. After adopting several cats from the shelter, Nancy and her husband Kevin became passionate about helping care for the many abused, abandoned and injured cats and kittens brought to the shelter. Each cat is special and given food, shelter, veterinary care and lots of TLC! When they are ready, they are found a “forever” home.

Nancy has blended two professions - a 20 year career as a veterinary technician and a lifelong interest in art. She has a degree in Visual Arts and studied Natural Science Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design. She continues her art journey by taking classes and workshops and works in many mediums, oil being the current favorite.
