Dawn Derow is the 2018 MAC Award Winner for Best Female Vocalist. Dawn grew up on Cape Cod and graduated from the Boston Conservatory. She moved to New York City (NYC) to pursue her love of music and has appeared in NYC at Birdland, The Metropolitan Room, The Cutting Room, Don’t Tell Mama, The Friars Club, Joe’s Pub, and Carnegie Hall. Dawn was part of the Mabel Mercer Foundation Carnegie Hall performance of “Cole Porter’s De-lovely Celebration.” Dawn won a 2015 MAC award for her work in the duo show REVOLUTION with Kathleen France and she recored “MUSIC 4 TWO” with guitarist Sean Harkness. In 2017 she appeared in “MY SHIP, Songs from 1941,” at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC.
