Backyard Birds and Birding Tour at Sturgis Library

Backyard Birds and Birding Tour at Sturgis Library

Presented by Sturgis Library at Sturgis Library

Search for the signs and sounds of the season! Join Wild Care’s Executive Director Stephanie Ellis for an informative program about the breeding habits of some of our beloved backyard wildlife. Learn “what to do if” you find orphaned birds and mammals, and tips for co-existing with our wild neighbors. Then join Stephanie on a guided walk in search of active nests, signs of courtship, identification of avian breeding songs and more. Stephanie has worked closely with wildlife for many years through her critical wildlife rehabilitation work, giving her an intimate look into the secret lives of animals. Gain a new perspective on the natural history and behaviors of wildlife with this special presentation and walk. Walk limited to 12 attendees. The walk will take place on the 21st, not the same day as the talk.
