This series of photographs, taken near the Punch Bowl in Beebe Woods, explores Jon Moore's intent not to "capture or copy" nature, but rather his making of photographs that stand as "records of elusive instances in time interpreted through the device of the camera." His photos of a winter's walk around a snowy pond, printed in sepia tone, record fleeting moments of seeing as in "the waning sunlight of a winter's day." They encourage us to consider both how art moves us and the nature of photography itself.
