Join us for an afternoon of exceptional poetry & music, in commemoration of the 50th anniversaries of the assassinations of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Sen. Robert F. Kennedy.
This FREE Voices of Poetry event will feature poetry by four acclaimed poets -
Tina Cane - Poet Laureate of Rhode Island;
Patricia Gomes - Poet Laureate of New Bedford, MA;
Fred Marchant - Professor of English and Director of the Creative Writing Program and The Poetry Center at Suffolk University in Boston; and
Candace Wiley - writing fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown; Callaloo Fellow; and former Fulbright Fellow.
We will also have music by pianist/cellist Lisa Gross.
