Six Thursday classes: 4/5, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10. This class is for the student who is newly comfortable with throwing a basic cylinder and bowl form on the potter’s wheel. We will expand these forms and our clay vocabulary, through the connection between form and function. Some simple, fun surface design techniques will round out the class. Demonstrations, individualized instruction, and plenty of hands on time round out our class. All tools, materials, and firings are provided. This class meets in the pottery studio on the lower level of the Education Wing.

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
