Food & Wines of Chinon France with Chef Joe Cizynski

Food & Wines of Chinon France with Chef Joe Cizynski

Presented by Cultural Center of Cape Cod at Cultural Center of Cape Cod

The medieval town of Chinon is located in the Centre - Val de Loire region of France, resting by the banks of the majestic Vienne river just before it meets the mighty Loire. In Chinon the winding streets up to the castle are lined with small shops, inns and cafes. The cobbles and timber houses dating back to the fifteenth century give you a feel of it's history. We will dine on rabbit and herb terrine, river crayfish a la nage, classic coq au vin and finish with cheeses. We will sip on complimentary Chenin blanc, Sauvignon blanc, Gamay and Cabernet Franc.
