Funded by a generous grant from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, Sturgis Library will be hosting an intro to fiction writing class every Wednesday night from March 7th through May 9th, 6 to 7 PM. Classes will cover character creation, plotting, genre, language, grounding readers, regionalism, setting, editing, and publication. Corey Farrenkopf, author and Adult Services Librarian, will instruct the class. (visit https://www.coreyfarrenkopf.com/ to view previously published stories)
In addition to workshops, visiting authors will give readings from their work. The first of these will be Paul Tremblay, winner of the British Fantasy Award, on April 4th starting at 7. Preregistration is required. Limited openings.
