Walking the Camino de Santiago: A Talk with Photographs and Oil Paintings

Walking the Camino de Santiago: A Talk with Photographs and Oil Paintings

Presented by Cultural Center of Cape Cod at Cultural Center of Cape Cod

Join Louise O’Neil and Susan Curley as they relive their experiences walking the Camino de Santiago, an ancient path leading pilgrims for centuries to Santiago de Compostela and the tomb of St James. Many now walk the Camino for religious or spiritual reasons, to find themselves, or to discover its natural beauty and heritage. In any event, the Camino de Santiago is a trip of a life time, a unique experience that inspires many, even after their journey is over. Although it has been two years since Louise and Susan embarked on this odyssey, the challenges and experiences they encountered continue to resonate. If you are considering embarking on this adventure yourself, have walked the Camino yourself, or want an armchair view, join Louise and Susan as they share their experiences through a talk, photo presentation, and an exhibit of oil paintings of their journey through France and Spain.
