Intentional Creativity in Wellfleet with Ginny Parker

Intentional Creativity in Wellfleet with Ginny Parker

Presented by Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) at Provincetown Art Association and Museum

Through Mindfulness Meditation, Creative Visualization and Journaling we will follow the Intentional Creativity Process to guide students to access their creative aspects of self that have often long been forgotten in our busy worlds.

If students are active creatives or artists, this workshop will allow them to access their creative content in new ways, but because this is intuitive painting, no prior painting skills are needed. Students will be introduced to the joy of painting, and rediscover their ability to create and to learn to paint intuitively. At the end of the workshop, students will walk away with their own painting of their Muse-Inner Artist as well as a personalized message from her/him on a 24 x 30” canvas.

Ginny Parker is a teacher and visionary artist who accesses her creative content through meditation, intuition and creative visualization.  Drawing on the sacred and mythological, she creates beautiful and vivid incarnations of mystical muses and beings.   She is an entrepreneur and former corporate financial professional who works with clients as a Certified Gestalt Coach and an Intentional Creativity artist and workshop leader. She holds a degree from Lesley College in Human Services, Counseling Psychology.

As an artist and certified teacher of Intentional Creativity, she is passionate about helping others re-discover their creative gifts, while guiding them as they deepen their connection to their inner world.  She lives in Wellfleet, MA where she leads retreats with individual clients and groups seeking to discover their authentic selves, while re-igniting their creative force through art and meditation. She owns Anam Cara, a Retreat & Creativity Center, where she welcomes seekers from all over the world in search of respite and creative healing through art, nature and contemplation.
