The faces behind the scenes of Rice Gallery at Woodruff’s Art Center showcase their works. The artists represented are Jessie Nickerson, Lisa Horton, Amy Rice, Cynthia Cruz and Chris O’Dell Ferguson.
This fellowship of dedicated artists work together at the gallery throughout the week; curating exhibits, assisting customers, teaching workshops. Outside of the gallery they work independently creating; drawing, assembling, painting. They have a wonderful camaraderie but their styles are deeply individual. Their works represent a broad range of mediums…oils, acrylics, watercolors, pen&ink and mixed media, that range in style from realistic to abstract non-representational, promising to excite the eye and the imagination.
An opening reception/meet-the artists event takes place on Thursday, January 11th from 5:00-7:00pm.
