The Woods Hole Film Festival is pleased to announce the 2015/2016 season of FILM FALMOUTH, a collaboration with Falmouth Academy to present a monthly screening series of independent film each year from October through May. Film Falmouth is supported in part by a grant from the Cape Cod 5 Charitable Foundation Trust and by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Tickets are $14 per person or $25 for two people and $10 for students and veterans for the screening (children under 12 are free accompanied by an adult) and are available in advance through the links below or at the door.

Falmouth Academy is located at 7 Highfield Drive, Falmouth, MA and the screenings take place in Morse Hall. There is plenty of onsite parking and the facility is wheelchair accessible.

VERY SEMI-SERIOUS

A feature documentary film by Leah Wolchok, 2015, USA, 93 min.

VERY SEMI-SERIOUS is an offbeat meditation on humor, art and the genius of the single panel. The film takes an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at the New Yorker and introduces the cartooning legends and hopefuls who create the iconic cartoons that have inspired, baffled—and occasionally pissed off—all of us for decades.
