We’re off on another exotic adventure. But this time, we’re not lingering in any one place. This time, we want to stamp every page of our passport. Turkey. China. Korea. Japan. We’re nomads travelling along the ancient Silk Road and beyond! We’re discovering places where cultures thousands of miles apart have met, intertwined and become one. We’re hearing music we’ve never heard before. Yet, it reminds us so very much of home. Like the Identity: Zhongshan Zhuang Concerto, a blissful marriage

between the ancient Chinese instrument, the Guzheng, and the lush, Western orchestra. Like China’s once-censored, now-famous Butterfly Lover’s Concerto, beautifully balanced with one foot in the East, the other in the West. Like Japan’s beautifully haunting movement, Cape Cod, set among a sea of strings. Only the promise of a world premiere could make us end this whirlwind tour. Be among the few to experience the exquisite Korean drum dance, now re-imagined with an orchestral piece composed especially for us. We may never go home again.
