Two classes - 11/27 and 12/4.
Everyone treasures a hand-made holiday ornament for years and years. Create a truly unique and special bronze ornament in this two part class. Bronze clay is easy to use and much more affordable than silver or gold clay, so you are less inhibited in size, making it easy to build beautiful holiday gifts for family or friends. In part 1 you will build and refine your ornament, preparing it for kiln firing. Kim will take all the prepared pieces home and fire them in her studio kilns. In part 2 you will finish and assemble your fired pieces. Kim will supply all the tools and accessories and provide the guidance through to a completed project. No experience necessary, and more advanced students are also welcome. Clay and certain other supplies will be available for purchase from Kim at the class. This class meets in the Photo & Digital Arts Studio on the lower level of the Education Wing.
