Meet the Artist Weedie Tyldesley on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Art Gallery of the Guild of Harwich Artists, 551 Main Street (Route 28), Harwich Port.  Open Weekends.  774-722-4465. 

Weedie will be demonstrating her work inspired by the Zentangle® art form.  These Zentangles are pen and ink designs, usually done in a circular format and often incorporating one or more inspirational words such as courage, faith, peace,   believe, magic, etc. She has found this art form to be quite relaxing and almost meditative. She will have materials available so that visitors to the demonstration may try their hand at creating their own Zentangle.

Her art, as well as that of 21 other Harwich artists, is on permanent display at the gallery.  The gallery is a cooperative presenting the original works of member artists in all media.  A special exhibition of theme paintings “Fall into Autumn” is featured through November.   

Parking is available at the Tourist Information Center directly across the street.  Light refreshments will be provided, and all are welcome to this free event.
