Backyard Astronomy: Scanning November Skies

Backyard Astronomy: Scanning November Skies

Presented by Sturgis Library at Sturgis Library

Join us for a talk with The Aldrich Astronomical Society on the newly purchased Library Telescope. John Root, an expert on astronomy from the Aldrich Society, will be giving a presentation on the telescope, how to use it, what you can expect to find in the night sky, and how to do so. Highlights include the moons of Jupiter, Saturn’s rings, Mercury, and Venus. After the presentation, we will go outside with our telescope and a secondary telescope for a guided tour of the night sky. Great for all ages!

(The Library telescope will be available for loan in the near future!)
