Six weeks - 10/30, 11/6, 11/20, 11/27, 12/4, 12/11
Trace the development of Irish dance from humble, simple beginnings in rural Ireland to spectacular stage performances of world acclaim while experiencing the lilt of Irish dance music. The goal of this class is to introduce students to forms of dance and music that provide a fundamental understanding of Irish Dance and Music traditions. Solo steps and basic group dances along with new figure choreographies will be featured. Aspects of traditional and modern Irish step dance will be combined to make this an enjoyable and invigorating experience. This class meets in the Board Room in the Main Building.

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
