Them Bones: Facing the Dead in Paris and Rome
Join Library Trustee Greg Williams as he takes us on a dark tour of Paris and Rome just in time for the spooky season. “Dark” tourism (aka “thanotourism) is the practice of touring sites like graveyards and places associated with death or the dead, like the Catacombs in Paris or the Capuchin Crypt in Rome. Greg has stories to tell and images to share about famous sites around these cities that you may want to visit on your next trip abroad (or maybe you just want to listen from the safety of the Lowell Room at Sturgis Library.)
Free Admission.
Registration is appreciated.
