This first class is held at the Heritage Museum and offers a private tour of "The Wyeths: America Reflected." More than 45 paintings and drawings of three generations of Wyeths (N.C., Andrew and Jamie) are rarely seen and are on loan from private individuals and museum collections. The major themes of these works are patriotism and the meaning of America. Next, participants will visit Palette Fine Art Gallery in Sandwich, where owner Emerson Harrison will exhibit a fine group of Cape artists: George Corbellini, Tony Donovan, Mary Flaig, Lisa Goodwin, Emerson Harrington, Gayle Morrow, Elizabeth Mumford, Allen Osgood, Melicia Phillips and John Whitmore. Register early for this class as student number is limited.
