David Fisher, PhD, begins the four sessions with his extensive tales of science, politics, medicine and warfare, in which useless information becomes vitally important. In this class, he will treat the World War Two codebreakers, the two Battles of Britain, Pearl Harbor and Midway. Then this fascinating nuclear physicist will describe the air over the South Pole and the rise of melanoma.
