Wednesday Evening Talks

Presented by Orleans Historical Society at Orleans Historical Society Meetinghouse Museum

Fifth generation South Orleans resident, Chris Macort, has been working for Barry Clifford on the Whydah Project for over 20 years as an Underwater Field Archaeologist and Artifact Conservator, and is currently Director of Exhibits at the Whydah Pirate Museum in both South Yarmouth and Provincetown. Having realized his childhood dream of being a pirate hunter, and having served in key roles on some of the most exciting pirate ship explorations and discoveries in modern times, Chris' talk will be a bit different than his usual Whydah presentations. He hopes to share local stories that will be new and exciting for people to hear, and enjoys the Q&A part of his presentations.
