Internationally known artist Sam Barber is known for the dancing light in his paintings. Barber gravitates to gardens, seaside and village scenes - anything pleasant that allows him to revel in his love for color. Locally he’s been honored with retrospectives at the Cahoon Museum of American Art and Cape Cod Museum of Art; and his work is represented in many museum and corporate collections throughout the country. Running from Saturday July 29 ,through Wednesday, August 9, at the Chapman Art Gallery. The exhibition “Reflections of My Time” will feature more than of his most recent works in both oil and watercolors.

An opening reception for "Reflections of My Time: Recent Oils and Watercolors by Sam Barber" will be held from 5 to 7pm Saturday, July 29. Refreshments will be served.
