Cotuit On The Road, the successful joint venture between Cotuit Center for the Arts and Brave Horse Music presents Anthony Teixeira Sings Tony Bennett Duets with Friends Friday through Sunday, November 20 – 22 at Sandwich Town Hall. Performances are at 7:30pm, Sunday matinee at 2:00pm.

Many songs chosen for this show are standards that Tony Bennett chose to re-record with other successful pop and jazz singers as duets. “One of my favorite albums, In Person Tony Bennett, which was released in 1959, I listened to incessantly when I was in my early twenties and studying voice,” says Director, Ruth Condon. “I studied every song on that album, as Tony Bennett’s phrasing is impeccable and it was a great music lesson.” In this show, Anthony shares duets and solos with his talented female guest vocalists, Brazilian singer, Rayssa Ribeiro, Cape’s favorite Jazz singer stylist Cerise Bynoe & Ruth Condon.
