Separating the subject from the background is one of the keys to creating better photos. Making thoughtful choices about light & color can help you do just that. In this course, we'll study a variety of photographs and discuss how light and/or color are used make them successful.
Topics covered include:
-How the direction and position of light impacts your subject
-Using diffusion, reflection, and flash to your advantage
-Using your computer to reliably predict outdoor light in advance
-The relationship between color and mood in your photos
-Understanding color schemes and using them in your art
-Thinking about color vs monochrome for your photo
Teaching points will be supported by images covering a broad spectrum of photography. This is a great opportunity to learn, meet new people, and see some wonderful photos!
