The Boston Globe says “There’s a music style called jazzsoul (we made it up) and our anointed queen is Boston native Cassandre McKinley.” This Berklee College of Music Professor, and Boston Conservatory alum, vocal influences include Anita O’Day, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Nancy Wilson, and Marvin Gaye. She has shared the stage with jazz greats Jay Geils (J. Geils Band), Dick Johnson (leader of the Artie Shaw Band), Bernard “Pretty” Purdie, Jerry Portnoy (Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters), and many more. Cassandre has performed in venues across the country and her music has been heard on national & international radio stations.

The Cape Cod Jazz Quintet is comprised of Cape Cod’s top Jazz Musicians and the group has appeared at concerts and private events across Cape Cod, accompanied vocalists Dane Vannatter and Siobhan Magnus (from American Idol), and recorded two CDs including one with Dane Vannatter.
