For the month of June in 2017, the Brewster Ladies’ Library is pleased to present an art show by Mr. Sanuk, “Paintings and Drawings through the Eyes of a Sculptor.”
Mr. Sanuk has been an artist since 1980. A self-taught sculptor, he began his artistic endeavors using clay and stone, but two years ago, he decided to take up painting. He specializes in abstracts of animals and Eskimos, as he is part Eskimo himself. Mr. Sanuk works flat using line, color, and composition to tell a story. His work has been influenced by Eskimo Line Drawing and the painting class he took with Karen North Wells. He calls his work “on the job training,” and his mission is to make people smile through his art and his life.
This exhibit is sponsored by the Brewster Ladies’ Library. Please call the Library at (508) 896-3913 before coming, due to the exhibition room sometimes being in use for a program and not open for viewing.
