Learn to Use the Components Essential To Landscape Photography

1. How to think visually through the use of elements of color, shape, texture, line and pattern.
2. How to use lighting in a way that best enhances the subject matter.
3. How to build an image with a strong compositional foundation.
4. How to appreciate the expressive potential of the natural world.

The workshop will begin on Friday evening with an orientation and presentation of materials

The workshop will feature approximately 10 hours in the field with 3 hour sessions beginning each day an hour before sunrise and Saturday afternoon through sunset. We will explore the south shore from barrier beaches and salt marshes to woodland ponds and cranberry bogs. Workshops are designed for those interested in exploring and nurturing their creative vision.

Complimenting the field experience will be 6-8 hours of the classroom time that will include individual instruction, viewing of images and group critiques to evaluate results.
