In this workshop we will explore the different ways the iPad can be used to enhance your existing art workflow. The iPad is an extremely portable and flexible way to “put new tools in your tool box”. We will see how the iPad can be used as a lightroom for post processing, to help generate ideas, and to create completed works of art. For this workshop we will focus on apps that can edit your photos, apps that can transform your photos and how to control and alter the effects produced to create personal style. We will also look at the vast array of art made on the iPad and see how photographers and other artists use the iPad as an exciting stimulus to their work.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:

I have been working with digital images for the last 13 years. This has intensified in the last five or so years with the exciting addition of iPad and iPhone art. My iPad art has been spotlighted by Adobe Systems. You can see this spotlight at http://www.photoshop.com/spotlights/barbara-braman/ I was on the initial testing team for the iPhone version of the PS Touch app.
