Puppetry Workshop taught by Damian Baldet, six-year company-member of Disney's The Lion King
This workshop is for performers and non-performers alike. Using concepts from mask-work, Commedia dell'arte and psychological gesture, begin exploring how to turn an inanimate object into a living, breathing thing. Discover how identity, thoughts and emotion can be communicated through shape, posture and movement. Using provided modular puppet-blanks, we'll begin to establish a physical vocabulary and a way of crafting character that will enhance any performance art. 

When:  Saturday August 29 and Sunday August 30 from 1-4 pm.

Ages: 18+. Cost per course: $100. 

All classes will be held in the Cape Rep Theatre Studio.
