The Second Annual “Member's Art Show and Sale" will be presented by Sandwich Arts Alliance upstairs at Sandwich Town Hall on Saturday, April 29th from 10 to 4, and Sunday, April 30th from noon to 4.

Forty-five talented members of Sandwich Arts Alliance will be displaying and discussing their work at the event, making the interactive art show both fun and educational.

In addition, Sandwich Arts Alliance will present a first, second and third place "People's Award" based on votes by those attending the show.

Members’ photography will be on display and for sale while student artwork from Sandwich High School and STEM Academy, also on display, will be judged with prizes awarded.

The student work will be judged by Robert Enos, a long-time art teacher in the Needham Schools and by Margaret Ellsworth, a retired art teacher from Falmouth Academy. Ribbons and monetary prizes will be given to the student artwork. “Fine art” artisan tables will be featured with items on display and for sale by artists who will interact with patrons to discuss their work.

Another showcase will feature artwork produced by students in recent Sandwich Arts Alliance classes.

The event will close with a silent auction of donated art as well as a raffle of a painting by a Sandwich Arts Alliance member.
