This self-aware love-letter to musical theatre follows two struggling writers rushing to meet a deadline. Struggling writers Jeff and Hunter hear of a new musical theatre festival. The submission deadline is only three weeks away, but they have nothing to lose, so they agree to write until they have a finished project. While trying to think of what to write about Jeff suggests they write about what to write about. The pair name their show [title of show] taken from the festival’s application form. This musical explores creative expression as these writers and their friends learn more and more about themselves as people. Bowen and Bell’s love-letter to musical theatre is one sure to delight any lover of musicals.
