The Wyeth DNA: Drama, Nature, Art w/ Wanda M. Corn, Art History Professor Emerita, Stanford U.

at Heritage Museums & Gardens

Andrew Wyeth had a remarkable artist-father and has raised a famous artist-son. This talk will explore the legacy of N.C. Wyeth on Andrew’s exquisitely crafted and emotionally haunting work and suggest ways that Jamie Wyeth, in the third generation, has re-invented the family’s DNA. This program will be presented by Wanda M. Corn, Robert and Ruth Halperin Professor Emerita in Art History at Stanford University. Professor Corn is an award-winning scholar who has produced various books and exhibitions, including the book The Art of Andrew Wyeth.
