How cool would it be to be behind the scenes in a recording studio? This class will teach the fundamentals of creating a good music mix in the studio. Utilizing industry standard software, Avid Pro Tools, we will discuss balance, proper levels, file management and workflow, as well as processing. Students will leave with a solid understanding basic mixing techniques that can be applied in many situations. This class is for teens ages 13+. This class meets in the Night Owl Recording Studio on the lower level of the Education Wing.
