April 6 - May 14, 2017 Woodruff’s Art Center will have on view “The Art of Transportation” an exhibition of transportation related art and photography by 20 Cape Cod artists. An opening reception will take place on Thursday, April 6th from 5:30-7:30pm. Artists will be present and refreshments served.

Flying, pedaling, sailing, driving, soaring, riding…twenty local artists and photographers share their creative vision of getting from point A to point B in this unique exhibit.

Planes, trains and automobiles accompany other modes of transportation; some fast, some still, some historic, some modern, some whimsical. All are creatively depicted using watercolor, oil, photography, acrylic, sculpture, drawing, graphics, pastel and prints.

The artists exhibiting are Roger Bigg, Ken Carson, Betsy Payne Cook, Julie DeMello, Hudson Gallager, Joe Fattori, Cailyn Ferguson, Chris O’Dell Ferguson, Kelly Ferguson, Jack Lynch, Dennis Martin, Nancy Minnigerode, William Muller, Edward C. Norton, Carol E. Raymond, Karen Rinaldo, Candice Ronesi, Lisa Jo Rudy, Brenda Silva, Victoria Smith and Kathy Timmins
