This course explores The Vikings and their impact on Ireland; the Normans and the history of Ireland from the 12th-16th century; the re-conquest of Ireland: 1536–1691; the Irish as slaves and servants; and the Penal Laws; Risings: 1798 to 1916. Instructor Sean Murphy is from Ireland and has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Sociology and Politics. Call to register.
